Price and quality doesn’t matchMugeI I used this item one winter, and the stitches have come apart, indicating it is of low quality, despite being at an entry-level price. I wanted to return it, but since a year has passed, they did not accept the return. Does this mean the product is only usable for a year? I am experiencing quality issues with my product and would like to return it. I hope IKEA takes notice of this.1
Disappointed Ho TinI recently purchased a duvet from IKEA and have been quite disappointed with the quality. The feathers keep coming out through the fabric, which makes a mess and also makes the duvet feel less full and warm over time. I expected better durability, especially from a well-known brand like IKEA. Unfortunately, this product doesn’t seem to meet the quality standards I’ve come to expect. I hope IKEA can look into this issue and improve the product design. 3
Warm and cozyMarikaVery pleased with my new duvet . It is warm and cozy and in my opinion just the right weight. It does however have a slight smell from the natural duck feathers but from my experience with other duvets I have bought in the past from ikea the smell eventually fades . It does help if you hang it out in the fresh air for a few days . 5
Terrific productRyanVery comfortable, and I love the transparency that IKEA has with their products. Tells you exactly what it’s made of, how to wash & care for it, where it’s sourced, measurements, etc.
I wish every store had this info on their products so we can make informed purchasing decisions. 5
PerfectHeatherThis duvet feels so luxe and warm. I am so happy with the weight and feel. Really pleased with this purchase!5
LovelyDeborahVery nice and light but warm and cozy.5
Unfortunately it is a present for my daughter's birthday on February 7th. But it is something that was her choice.LouiseBut i have always been very satisfied with all IKEA products. Quality and price and service.5
Warm and cozyAmandaI love this duvet. The stitching keeps the down filling evenly distributed. The duvet is warm but not too hot, where you feel like you need to take it off during the night. Highly recommend!5
Excellent MadihaExcellent,warm and cozy 5
This duvet is light and warm. Keeps you comfortable all nightClaudiaThe description was accurate so I just decided very easily 5
Warm and toasty!BarbaraI appreciated the selection of options and am very pleased with my choice.5
As warm as promised! This is the one for all of us basement dwellers.Marie-AnneMy last duvet (from someone else and way more expensive) died and I needed a warm duvet. IKEA came through! A nice feather and down ratio, the material feels sturdy. I've washed it already, using tennis balls in the dryer as recommended, and it stayed the same. No feather bunching, no movement of the filling from one baffle to another. And it's super warm. I almost bought the duvet rated Warmest and glad I didn't, I would have died of heat. This one is absolutely perfect. And this might be controversial but it has that crackling sound that feather duvets have. I know some people hate that but I love it. 100/10 Would recommend again and again.5
Light comforter but very warmVioletI'm so happy I bought this comforter. It's lightweight but keeps me very warm. The fact it is light weight helps because of issues with arthritis, so making the bed is easy. Thanks IKEA.5
Good duvet and learn how to eliminate odorBarbaraI bought this for my winter use. It is of good quality and matches the price. I come from Shanghai, and we know how to deal with duck/goose-down products in China. In China, there is no one to wash the duck/goose down duvet to get rid of the smell, just lay or hang it in the air for 3-4 days until the smell is gone (but never exposed under the SUN). I don't know why the indication said: "can be washed". it is not right. Anyway, the higher the quality, the less smell, the higher the price. 5
Nice duvet BrendaTrying to get the smell out. 😢2
Loosing featherSiufonThe duvet is comfortable; however, after just a few months of use, it is losing feathers. 1
Great product !VigneshI have been using this duvet for a year and wanted to post this review after a full year of use. I have been using this duvet in Calgary, where it is extremely cold in winters. It is very efficient in keeping the body warm. Works perfectly as per product description. Washing is very easy—just wash the duvet cover, it is not required to wash the duvet. 5
Smells Like Rotting FleshMeganI've purchased at least five of these duvets in the past few years, but suddenly, out of nowhere, one of them smells like rotting flesh. A while ago I also purchased six of the down pillows which also smelled like rotting flesh. This is not your typical down smell, but something seriously wrong with their manufacturing process. It smells as if there's rotting flesh on the feathers still. It doesn't smell like down or wet down or chemicals, but dead and rotting animal.
The smell is unbearable and I will try to return/exchange this asap.
I also tried to wash it twice and dried it for seven hours (!!!) on high with no reprieve from the smell.
I don't know why IKEA won't recall these products or stop selling them until this is fixed. It's clearly a massive manufacturer problem. IKEA please investigate what is happening to your down products. It's horrible that your customers have to buy defective products and sleep with them.
