Terrible - Feathers Absolutely EverywhereRachelThis duvet leaks feathers constantly - I dread washing the sheets because I know my whole room (and anywhere else I take the duvet inner) will have feathers everywhere. Unless you want to be vacuuming constantly to keep the floor clean - don't buy this duvet inner. It loses approximately 50-70 feathers each time I change my bed - the material this is made with just doesn't hold the feathers in at all. I think I've lost 1/3 of the feather weight in the 3 months I've owned it. This is a huge manufacturing oversight. Do not recommend this duvet at all.

Well‑Made but Uncomfortably Damp and HeavyJanieThis duvet is well constructed and nicely thick, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. It traps moisture very easily, even without a cover. It stays damp, heavy, and extremely uncomfortable. I’ve noticed that my son wakes up several times during the night, and I’m convinced the constant humidity and weight are affecting the quality of his sleep.
Because of this, I now have to look for a non‑down alternative. It’s disappointing that I can’t return or exchange it to avoid a second expense (purchased in January 2026).

Feathers leaking everywhereKatieWe bought this duvet December and it has done nothing but leak feathers. Every time we take the cover off, feathers fly about and stick to everything. We wash and put the cover back on, and feathers still make their way out. I suspect that by the summer there will be a quarter of the feathers gone from this duvet.

How to care for your down/feather duvet
With a little care, you can prolong the life of your down/feather duvet and keep it fresh. The filling has a natural smell which can be reduced by airing or washing. Wash the duvet separately with a mild detergent (1/3 of the normal amount) on delicate cycle at 60°C. Avoid bleach/fabric softeners. Tumble dry immediately on low heat. A dryer ball or a high-quality tennis ball in the dryer will ensure more efficient drying. Air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
