Changed colour less than a year. CarolineI am more than disappointed with this couch. The fabric is NOT black/grey anymore, it is gone lighter beige/grey. I care very much about my items that I put thin clear plastic to prevent the cats from scratching. The colour stayed original under the plastic but faded everywhere else, it looks ridiculous. To add insult to injury, IKEA won’t replace the covers as it is not under warranty, but this product is clearly defective, it is not wear and tear.1
I bought finnala/ikea so I could buy replacement parts because: kids. Discontinued 2 years later.AlexComplete waste of money. I bought a finals sectional so I could replace covers, cushions, etc. but less than 2 years later - half the parts have beeen discontinued. So my couch will be destined to the landfill when the next thing breaks - which it will. IKEA furniture is NOT built to last.1

Everything you want in a sofaTaniaIt is very comfortable, material is thick and durable. Love that you can remove any material piece to wash if gets dirty. Putting together wasn’t too hard.5
Finnala la la laDianeChose the lighter “grey” fabric- delivery arrived as scheduled. Sofa fits perfect in the room and our decor. We love how comfortable it is and occasionally so do our two Newfoundland dogs. No spills yet but our previous Ikea sofa covers have been scrubbable or washable. We are really happy with the fact this sofa sits deep and the back rest is just high enough.

Delivery was seamless and faster than ever expected. Assembly was also pretty straightforward with only one do over. The sofa itself is firmer than in store, but expect it to soften with time. For the budget or pet friendly household, I would highly recommend the Finnala.4
