It deteriorated and left black powder on the counter...JuliaBought this to use under a glass water pitcher—so not even for hot pans or pots, which is what it’s designed for. It arrived with a brittle-looking finish around the center opening, and within two weeks it began deteriorating and shedding black, powdery dust onto my counter and the bottom of the pitcher. I seriously doubt it would hold up well under heat or regular use...
