Not exactly as advertisedRobinNot Ikea's fault but the item is not as large as the images appear to make it. Apart from that, just fyi, the outside diameter of the attachment bracket is 5cm. However, the item description on the website says it can be used up to 500cm long but this is not exactly true. Once opened the installation instructions give a maximum unsupported length of 140cm, so for the quoted length of 500cm you would need at least two (not included) support brackets and three curtains rather than the one support and two curtains we planned. We had also planned and purchased enough for two unsupported lengths of about 280cm and one lenth of 400cm with a single support in the middle. We now debate whether to buy additional parts or take it all back and go with a different plan.2

Bought 1 set and returned and got 2 more sets. Easy directions and great minimalist look. I got extra clips for drapes I hung from the ceiling. I suggest a supporting post about every 4 feet.
