Spring broke after only 1.5 yearsAndyThe spring inside just snapped one day and fell down. Looks nice but lasted for 1.5 years only and now it's garbage. Extremely disappointed.1
Very difficult to keep In placeAlnoorI didn’t find this rod very effective at staying up. While it is supposed to be spring-loaded, there doesn’t seem to be much tension to keep it in place. Our shower curtain/liner combo is a bit heavier, and it kept falling down. Bought another more expensive one from Canadian Tire that has much more tension and stays in place well.1

J ai vu un mauvais opinion sur cet article mais moi je connais des bares , ils sont bien. Je l ai placé selon les recommandations du guide et je commence à la surveiller peur qu elle tombe comme le dis l opinion d une dame. Mais voila une semaine la bare est toujours à sa place et bien solide. Sincèrement il ne faut pas croire que cette bare tombe, d ailleurs je compte acheter deux autres de IKEA. Mid shower rodSarahIt's beautiful, simple and very affordable. However, it keeps falling down. The rubber holders should be more grippy in my opinion. I changed my builder grade shower rod that hasn't fallen ONCE for the last 3+ years. This ikea shower rod has fallen 3 times in a month... Ordering an adhesive mount holder from Amazon and hopefully it fixes this issue :(4
Didn't Stay Up CassidyTried without success to get this to mount but the mechanism isn't very effective. Ended up having to buy a different shower rod that was easily installed on the first try. 1

Great for light curtains

This curtain rod is great for hanging light curtains. It's easy to install and has great value for money ratio. If it was just a little sturdier, i would give 5 stars
