A warm welcome for wet feet
Give your feet a softer, warmer landing and your bathroom a softer, warmer look with our bath and shower mats. They also offer an easy way to update your bathroom’s look. Place them in front of the shower, the toilet or sink — our wide range of bathroom rugs makes it easy to find one to fit your space and your style.
A bath mat is one bathroom essential we don't want to be without. The cuddly warmth between our toes when stepping out of the shower, the extra friction that keeps small and energetic feet from slipping on wet floors, the touch of colour that adds style the room. In short, a bathroom mat makes your bathroom warmer, safer and cozier.
In our selection of bathroom mats, you'll find an easy way to add a splash of colour, while keeping the floors dry. Choose between simple and minimalistic styles or more colourful ones with creative patterns. We have something for every bathroom.
Where to place the bath mat
There are two key places where you need a bath mat, no matter the size or layout of your bathroom.
The first one is in front of the shower or tub. This is an area that gets exposed to a lot of water, sometimes mixed with soap or shampoo. Add a bath mat here to avoid slipping on soapy water, and to help keep the floors dry.
The second place is in front of your sink. This gives your feet something warm and cozy to stand on when brushing your teeth before bedtime, or when fixing your make-up in the morning.
In some smaller bathrooms, one mat can cover both places. If not, consider getting a matching set of bathroom mats to tie the room together.
Matching the mat with other bathroom essentials
Add style to your bathroom by complementing your bathroom mat with other textile details.
For example, several of our towels and shower curtains come in colours that can be coordinated with our bath mats. Or why not try to find a matching bathrobe and a pair of slippers to create a hotel spa feeling at home.
How to take care of your bath mat
Many of our bathroom mats are lightweight, meaning they will dry fast. This means that you won't have to step on a damp mat next time you enter the bathroom.
However, since the rug is exposed to a lot of moisture, we recommend that you also let it rest from its duties from time to time. Wash the mat on a regular basis and give it a chance to get completely dry before putting it back on the floor. This way, you ensure that your bath mat will look nice and stay fresh for longer.
A great tip is to double up on a mat you like. This way, you'll always have a fresh rug in your bathroom while the other one is in the washing machine.
