Ratings and reviews

It's a slab of wood.RobThese fronts are quite dear for what they are - a slab of wood. A helpful addition would be a dimple on the hidden side to mark where the drill holes should go for a centre pull and a two-hole handle pull.4
Great productKirstenI have had my Ikea kitchen for 6 years now. These panels clean so easily and stand up to a lot. Amazing quality5
Peeling of the doorNancyAfter one year of installing the cabinet doors in the bathroom, they began to peel off, so we have to change them. 1
Just what I was looking forKathyShiney 5
Door is looks good But ??YahyaI bought my kitchen 3 years ago but some of the doors started peeling and the looks became very bad 😞2
Easy matchMelissaWe moved into a new home with an IKEA kitchen, but some doors were missing. It was easy to find our match and now the kitchen looks complete. Note: triple check your measurements! We ended up having to exchange one door as we bought the wrong size. 5
Bodbyn doors on Sektion frameLoriPurchased these doors for storage unit in our bathroom. Although they have a beautiful finish, the doors are far too heavy to use on the unit. Exchanged the doors for Utrusta doors with touch to open hardware. Thrilled with the result. Bodbyn doors are nice, just far too heavy for the way we planned to use them.3
Don't get the white doorsDebbieI loved the look of these doors when first installed. After about 7 years, the white finish has yellowed. I have heard from others that have said Ikea's warranty does not cover the discolouration, (they claim it is wear and tear). Replacing the doors is not an option as the side panels and trim have also yellowed. Steer clear of the white and go with another option.1
They yellowMishaAfter 4.5 years my off white cabinets are now yellow. Clean, non-smoking home. I even wash my cabinets weekly. I ordered a panel for a panel ready dishwasher and noticed how much they have yellowed. We had paint that was colour matched when we first purchased and it is intact the cabinets that have yellowed in comparison 1
BodbynCharmaineBeautiful finish, elegant and and a great upgrade to my kitchen.5
Bodbyn cupboardsSusanI absolutely love these cupboards they are beautiful, easy to clean and brightened up my kitchen. I bought two sets with glass doors and love the look. Now my guest don't have to search for a glass. They were east to assemble, easy to hang, couldn't have asked for a better system. 100% Satisfied.5

Cabinet Door reviewWayneI thought that the cabinet doors were well made; solid and attractive.4
KitchenBrendaWe did have an issue with the Ikea design - they updated their system a month after we did the design and lost the design. That caused issues through the entire install but the end result is very beautiful.5
Looks beautiful in my kitchen.DeanLooks beautiful in my kitchen.5
BodbynClaudetteLove the colour and laquered finish on these kitchen cabinets. Nice modern tradtional look. Be careful when opening doors to avoid minor damage to adjacent cabinetry. Have to get some touchup paint to correct otherwise I am extremely happy with my kitchen.5

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
