gonflés, gondolés, tachés permanentJulietteJ'ai ces portes depuis 2010. Seulement qques années plus tard, des taches sont impossibles à nettoyer à cause du fini mat. Les portes ont jauni - encore plus jaunasse que le offwhite original, donc la couleur n'Est même plus pareil que la moulure pourtant assortie. Mais le pire, c'est le bas des portes qui gonfle et boursoufle avec l'humidité (oui je part la hotte quand je cuisine !) . Vraiment un produit décevant. Je suis en discussion avec le service de garantie et j'espère qu'on pourra changer pour un autre matériau !1
It's a slab of wood.RobThese fronts are quite dear for what they are - a slab of wood. A helpful addition would be a dimple on the hidden side to mark where the drill holes should go for a centre pull and a two-hole handle pull.4

Easy matchMelissaWe moved into a new home with an IKEA kitchen, but some doors were missing. It was easy to find our match and now the kitchen looks complete. Note: triple check your measurements! We ended up having to exchange one door as we bought the wrong size. 5
Bodbyn doors on Sektion frameLoriPurchased these doors for storage unit in our bathroom. Although they have a beautiful finish, the doors are far too heavy to use on the unit. Exchanged the doors for Utrusta doors with touch to open hardware. Thrilled with the result. Bodbyn doors are nice, just far too heavy for the way we planned to use them.3
Don't get the white doorsDebbieI loved the look of these doors when first installed. After about 7 years, the white finish has yellowed. I have heard from others that have said Ikea's warranty does not cover the discolouration, (they claim it is wear and tear). Replacing the doors is not an option as the side panels and trim have also yellowed. Steer clear of the white and go with another option.1
They yellowMishaAfter 4.5 years my off white cabinets are now yellow. Clean, non-smoking home. I even wash my cabinets weekly. I ordered a panel for a panel ready dishwasher and noticed how much they have yellowed. We had paint that was colour matched when we first purchased and it is intact the cabinets that have yellowed in comparison 1

Easy to build kitchenLauraI hired a contractor to help me renovate my kitchen. I did 90% of the demo and about the same for assembling the ikea boxes/cupboards. The drawers took a few minutes to figure out but once I realized the height configuration it was super easy. I had difficulty inserting the glass shelves in the corner cupboards as they have to go in in a very particular angle. But all in all I would say the ikea kitchen installation is quite easy. Just make sure to measure out your space correctly! You’ve got this :wink: Laura5

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
