Trouble with product display layoutJohnWe bought two of these rods. The display had curtain rings with clips in the display directly under the curtain rod display. The diameter of the rod was larger than the rings that were on display right beside the rods. Make sure you get the correct rings for the diameter of the rod. IKEA needs to list compatibility of rings or diameter of rods and diameter of rings to prevent the mismatch. We had to actually go to a different vendor because IKEA did not sell compatible ring sets. We managed to hang the rods with the intended window covering, but IKEA did not have all the pieces.

Not tested. IKEA should do better!DamianAfter purchasing this curtain rod, I went and bought screws to install it. After drilling anchors, and installing the rod, I am extremely disappointed that you cannot slide the curtain back-and-forth. The IKEA curtain gets caught on the joint where the two rods go inside each other every time. It is completely useless. You cannot open or close your curtains!!! Ridicules!!!

Back in the day, IKEA provided everything needed to assemble the furnitures.
For this one, I needed to get 6 screws, and I had to run to the hardware store just for that.
I wish I can use a finials on the ends of the rod, but that’s not compatible with this rod.

Missing ScrewsMoThey should be more clear that the screws required to mount the rod are not included. This is now going to require a separate trip and significant time investment to pick up the correct screws making this item much more expensive than the purchase price.
