This cover is made of a cotton fabric with a slight texture which, when combined with the white colour, gives the sofa a light and bright look.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable.

Make sure the back is tautChitrangadaI've had this couch for 2 years now and just recently figured out that it was originally built wrong. Make sure when you're building it, the back part is taut, the fabric is not supposed to look like a hammock. I knew there was something wrong with it when I first bought it second hand but I finally fixed it. If built wrong it will be an extremely deep seated couch but when built correctly it is of normal depth and will work just fine for short people. Otherwise this couch is awesome, you can clean the entire thing by removing the fabric, the quality of the fabric is great and it's cat-scratch proof, their nails can't dig in to it and pull out the threads. The cushions aren't the best and you have to fluff them a lot, they will sink in. I like the space at the bottom for hiding storage and it's perfect to sleep on. I wish you could buy the cushions and side cushions separately though I want more cushions on the side.4

Bad Fabric QualityMuhammadThe quality of the fabric was very bad. The sofa never looked new due to the quality of the fabric. I had a grey fabric on the sofa and the fabric developed white patches on certain areas. The more we tried to clean it, the worst it became. However, the sofa was comfortable and also had a huge space. This is a wonderful sofa only if the fabric quality can be improved.1
It was easy to putMarshallIt was easy to put together and it's very comfortable and looks good. The question is whether it will stand the test of time because the seat cushions already seem to be getting divots in and it is questionable whether the hammock support (versus and actual wood frame) design will hold up.4

“My idea with BACKSÄLEN was to design a sofa that really makes you want to pull your legs up under you and snuggle up into a cozy ball. The loose fit of the upholstery gives the sofa a life of its own – somewhat like a fluffy cloud. To feel generous and embracing, the sofa has a deep seat and armrests that open up like a hug for you. I hope people personalize it with soft cushions and throws they like so it suits their own home and decor!"
