No problems putting this togetherAngieI bought 2 of these drawer units and the Lagkapten table top to make my desk. These items combined went together fairly easily. It took me a couple of hours to put everything together by myself. I reviewed the assembly instructions and found a You Tube video which helped. I used a cordless screwdriver for the many screws used for both drawer units which saved some time. The hardest part was attaching the table top to the cabinets because there are only drill holes on the bottom part of the table top which must match up to the drill holes on the drawer units. After some patience and moving the table top a little at a time, I had success screwing together the table top to the drawers. All of the drawers slide with no issue but are a little stiff and I am hoping with time and use they will become smoother.

FragileLiwenI have to say I'm disappointed with this product. It came with four small feets for the bottom, one of them broke during assembly, another two broke when I push the item to a different location that is .5 meter away. The stickers part is still on the bottom of the shelf so I cannot stick them back on. I ordered replacement parts but I highly doubt the the replacements would hold. For now, I took the last one off as well, and put on TRIXIG floor protector. Overall this is a very disappointed purchase and I definitely do not recommend unless you plan on using the wheel from the beginning.
Great little set of drawersCamI bought this to make into my vanity. I had a little alcove spot in my walk in closet that I needed a custom vanity and I wanted it to match the colour of my pax wardrobe. It’s perfect. The drawers are super deep and a lot of them. Fits my hair tools and all my makeup with no issues. Great buy and super cheap too!
Good design, materials not so good, customer service poorCasdaI like the design. Unfortunately, the materials they use seem to have gotten more cheap and flimsy.
I purchased a bunch of items last spring. Two of the items had issues. The rest were great.
This Alex item was already damaged when I opened the box. After many back and forth emails about it, I was asked to send photos, and then did a video chat with one of their reps who took their own photos. After taking up a lot of my time, they simply didn't follow up and have not responded to my emails.
I will say that they were good in dealing with the other item. I assembled the shoe storage rack and about a week later one of the screws had already ripped out of the particle board form normal use. In this case, they refunded me as the shoe storage rack was not usable.
I understand that inexpensive means lower quality, but the items should be functional and undamaged. And unfortunately I can't take a chance and order from ikea if I can't trust that they will stand behind their products.

Poor quality controlKatieThis is the first time I have been disappointed with an Ikea product - it is obvious they have cut corners for manufacturing as I have never had to force pieces together on Ikea furniture the way I had to with this product. Second, the guides for some of the drawers are not lined up properly, so the spacing between drawers is inconsistent. One of the drawers actually knocks on the one above it when being closed.
Three sides of the drawers are covered in a white plastic sheeting, rather than paint or laminate - it feels cheap and is not as durable.
I hope this is a one-off and Ikea doesn't become a trend for Ikea.

Crooked drawersBrittniThe drawers are very crooked and there's no way to fix this issue. The sliders are preinstalled. I live to far away to return in the return window, so now I am stuck with a lemon. I learned this is an issue for many once I looked up the problem.

Wonderful productSheilaThe drawers and great for organization and fit perfectly in my room. However, I think that the drawer sliders are a little annoying because they sometime get stuck and are not as simple as wheel tracks. The assembly took a while but was relatively easy. Overall good product.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
