      Perfect size drawersKathleen MPrior to purchasing this Alex drawer system I would keep my art supplies, stamps, paint brushes, etc. in containers in my cabinet. This is far easier to see items as the narrow top drawers are perfect size. Also, the castors make it so easy to wheel it to where I may want to use it.5
      Easy to assembleJenniferThese were great additions to my Alex Drawers for height and ease of mobility. The only thing is I wish they had the locking mechanism, so if you have fairly uneven floors, you might want to purchased ones with the locking tabs. Mine are placed on carpet so it’s fine, but on smooth flooring that may not be level, it may move.5

      Installed on new KALLAX unit.PatrickSturdy enough to install on a KALLAX unit for reliable, smooth, moving when necessary. Much easier to use a power screwdriver to install. Just use a bit of torque to start, and then ease off to seat the included screws properly.5
      Taller than advertised?SeanI am confused to say the least. The box is labelled "Alex 2 inch castors". They are designed, or so I thought, to raise the height of the Alex drawers to be the same as the desk, which is 2 inches taller. All well and good.... except these are actually 2.75 inches tall? I feel pretty stupid that I can't figure this out, but I just can't think of a way to make them smaller. Will likely call Ikea support tomorrow. There are also no instructions included, and drilling seems to be required which was a surprise for an Ikea product designed to fit with this exact unit.1
