Product and deliveryDeborahWhile I would rate the product high it goes hand in hand with the delivery, which was less than satisfactory. This is a main cabinet that is needed in a kitchen as my sink would sit in it. This was missed on my delivery and I had to drive 2.5 hours to ikea, wait in the line for over and hour, get the product and then drive 2.5 hours back. The other option was to wait 3 weeks for the next delivery which was completely unacceptable. I lost a day of work and my stress level went through the roof with this. However the cabinet looks amazing.

Ok - not fitting with old kitchen cabinets...CarmenI bought it to replace one of my old cabinets due to the sink leaking water and destroying the old one. It is not the same! I had to do many adjustmentss and finally it is just ok. But I do not want to throw out all my wooden kitchen for one cabinet! Very heavy - did not expect that.

Great value for the priceGregI looked at buying a cabinet from a Lumber Box Store. Wasn't impressed with the quality and the price was 2x as high. No brainer for my needs.
Cabinet construction has changed quite a bit from same style bought 10 years ago, but price hasn't gone up that much, so I guess that is to be expected. Some bits in the directions were a bit of a head scratcher, but persistence prevailed. If I was doing a whole kitchen, I would have to consider the costs of my time against the savings of buying factory cabinets. Labour wise and sweat, it would be pretty even

Not 24” base width!KerreyWe wanted this to use for our dishwasher. Dimensions state it is 24” w but base board is only 22.5” (other 1.5” is achieved thru the sides being added but to fit a dishwasher the base itself has to be 24”!).
As such the product details are not accurate for a dishwasher!

A kitchen that took us around the world
Whatever your dream kitchen is, it’s probably different from many other people’s dreams. This we learned when researching kitchen desires around the globe. Our conclusion for the SEKTION kitchen system: it should make it possible to design the best kitchen for you – whatever your preferences and living situation.
Our ambition is to help as many as possible to have a kitchen they'd love to be in. We started sketching. “When we created SEKTION, it was our biggest ever kitchen change, so it's fair to say we were very keen to get it right,” says technician Klas-Ola Nilsson.
Research from around the world
From research to result
One element became blindingly important. “We realized we needed a kitchen system that could adapt to different sized spaces in a way that hadn't been done before,” Klas-Ola says. “So, we developed cabinets that could fit almost anywhere.” Different sizes can be mixed to best fit the room and they'll still fit together – without odd ends. The clever inside can be personalized to support your kitchen needs and activities, too.

Material
What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
