Extremely difficult to installJaneThis is a beautiful pendant light once you get it installed. Poor instructions, installation parts are not the right size and poor quality. Light was packaged up and ready to return after a frustrating 6 hours of trying to get the cheap quality parts to fit. My McIver husband however lived the look so back out of the box and 2 days later after buying other parts from an electrical store, it was installed and looks lovely. No I would not recommend buying it unless you are an electrical engineer.3
Not dimmable with regular dimmersKarlDidn't realize I would need IKEA's wireless dimmer for these, which I have no intention of buying a separate dimmer instead of just using my wired switch.
Needs to work with regular switches and wiring we already have in our homes. Great looking lamp, but poorly thought out functionality makes it one star. Can not recommend.1
Not Dimmable...OlivierGreat lamp and I really love the design, but not being able to dim it with my Lutron dimmer is a big disappointment. I don’t understand why the LED is only dimmable through the IKEA Home system. Unfortunately, I’ll have to return the lamp because of this1

2 stopped working in less than 6 months eachAnna-MariaOne stopped working after less than 6 months, so I replaced it by buying a new one (did not get my money back because 90 days had passed and there was no warranty..). The new one stopped working after 1 month. If you have to pay to install the thing, it's not worth even trying.1

Perfect LightAlexEasy to install, this light is perfect over our bar / kitchenette. We have 12 foot ceilings and it still sits at the perfect hight. The colour temperature range as well as the brightness range covers all the bases and it works great with the Tradri remote.5
