Top shelf is not very sturdyCindyThis was professionally installed. The top shelf is not very sturdy. I have to distribute my pots very carefully or the shelf gets unbalanced. I did not exceed the weight allowance or even come close to exceeding the weight allowance. I am extremely, extremely disappointed because now I'm stuck with this for the life of my kitchen. There is no other option for this space.
Very unsturdyAndriaI just had a new Ikea kitchen installed a few days ago, that I love, but this is beyond cheap and the top rack is only held on by three small screws. My small cat (7lbs) got into the cupboard before I was able to even put items in it, and the entire top tier broke, ripping all the screws off. If it can't hold a 7lb cat, I'm skeptical on how it'll hold more than a few canned items.
Good luck trying to install it with the instructions includedAnonymous reviewerThe pre-drilled holes in the cabinet base do not line up and the instructions if followed would make a mess. I found the easiest way was to install the top piece first and then take measurements from the four edges and then set out the bottom piece from that measurement.
