Information about our validation service and how to submit your IKEA Kitchen design for a validation
Here you will find information on how to submit your IKEA Kitchen design for a validation.
If you would like to submit your design for a validation, please follow the steps below:
- Once the kitchen design is open in the IKEA Home Planner, there will be a button that says “Continue” on the top right corner of the page. You will then see your design and if the design is correct, it will ask you to click "proceed."
- Clicking on that button will open a window with two options:
- Add to shopping bag
- Send for review
- The first option will import all the items to the cart, so an order can be placed without a review.
- The second option will submit your design for a review, also known as a validation.
Once the design is submitted for a validation, an IKEA kitchen expert will make all the necessary changes to the plan and will input the changes that were made in the “Notes” section on the IKEA Home Planner.
Please note that once the plan is submitted for validation, you are not able to access your drawing in the IKEA Home Planner until the validation process is complete. In other words, the drawing will be locked.
If the drawing needs to be modified, simply click on “Save as” and choose a new name for the plan.
Once the kitchen expert has validated the plan, an automated email from [email protected] will be sent stating that the plan has now been validated. Once you open your design, a green check mark on the bottom right corner of the IKEA Home Planner will appear, this means that the plan has been reviewed.
You are now ready to order your new IKEA kitchen!
