What is IKEA Kreativ?

Welcome to IKEA Kreativ – your ultimate destination where interior dreams unfold! Whether you want to furnish your space or redesign it, we've got exactly what you need. With IKEA Kreativ, you have two unique experiences to choose from: designing your own space or exploring a curated collection of virtual showrooms.

Use it in the IKEA app on iOS or Android, or on IKEA.ca.
There are three ways to use it:

Design Your Own Space
From picking the right color to finding the best placement, we understand that seeing the new furniture you want already in your space would make everything easier. With our mobile app you can! Capture your space, erase unwanted items, and redesign it to your heart’s content. Here’s what you can do:
  • Remove your existing furniture – no heavy lifting required!
  • Add and swap new furniture from the catalog.
  • Add selected wall art and accessories from the catalog.
  • Skip the measuring – items added to the room are sized to scale.

Build a 3D Room

In the IKEA app, scan your whole room (LiDAR-enabled devices only) to build it in 3D. On the web, use the room builder to manually enter your room's dimensions instead; no scanning needed.

Explore Our Virtual Showrooms
Good news for all IKEA showroom fans: now you can create your own! Dive into our collection of 50+ virtual showrooms – no scanning required.

Since this is a new experience, there are certain features we don’t support (yet).
  • Adding items we don’t have in the experience catalog, yet, including textiles (e.g. curtains, pillows, blankets, duvets, tablecloths).
  • Adding ceiling mounted accessories (e.g. pendant lamps).
  • There are limited design possibilities for Kitchens, we therefore recommend using the Kitchen planner.
  • You can only scan your space with the IKEA mobile app, after which you can decorate in either mobile or web.

With IKEA Kreativ, designing your dream space has never been more fun – or more effortless. So, what are you waiting for? Let's get Kreativ!
