I cannot calculate an online delivery with my postal code, what do I do?

Here is a step-by-step process to troubleshoot postal code issues that occur during the checkout process.

Why does this happen?  

Either the postal code is invalid or it is a new postal code/area which has not yet been updated in our system.

How do I fix this?  

  1. To make sure we provide the delivery service in your area, please validate your postal code on IKEA.ca by going to IKEA services, Delivery and Pick-up location, "see the options available in your area" or click on this link to check delivery availablity by postal code.  

  2. If your postal code does not appear, verify the postal code on the Canada Post website to ensure it is valid.  

  3. If you determine that IKEA provides the delivery service in your area and the postal code is valid on Canada post, please contact us for more assistance.
