The cooktop lights can be switched on/off and give a realistic glow but do not get warm.

Grows with your child. The height of the legs can be adjusted to 3 positions.

Encourages role play which helps children to develop social skills by imitating grown-ups and inventing their own roles.

We've had a number of other play kitchens but the Ikea one is easily the best. tthe leg extensions means we can use it with the toddlers & the 4 year old children. What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are.
