How to decorate your first apartment bedroom

When it comes to your first own bedroom or apartment, the focus is usually more on your lifestyle than a decorating style.

Ready to settle in? Check!

Regardless of budget and circumstances there’s a few things you will need to fix:

  • A bed or day-bed
  • Some sort of storage solution
  • Lighting, preferably a few different light sources
  • A desk
  • Extra stools for friends
  • Perhaps a few decorations
  • Pizza!

Friends + Extra chairs = True

You can’t have too many friends, especially when you’re moving and need some helping hands. Consequently, you can’t have too many extra chairs either, so make sure to become familiar with these two words: Stackable and foldable.

Storage for things you don’t want to store away

Sometimes it is the odd little collectibles and personal favourites that set the mood in a room. They need somewhere to be, but don’t want to be stored away.

Let’s get serious

Even if life is a party, there will be moments when you need a desk to study, work, pay bills or just sort things out.

Hanging pictures without making holes in the wall is truly fine art.

Why make holes in the wall if you don’t have to? ALFTA self-adhesive hooks are super easy to both attach and remove.
