Hard to pullAndrewThe drawer front together with the soft closing drawers provided by IKEA make the whole setup very difficult to use on a daily basis. The blum drawer rails are designed as such that you need some force to pull the drawers through the first couple of inches to disengage the soft closing hook (or whatever it is). It is hard with this small finger grip, especially for my wife and kids. A standard front with a handle would work better3

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
