Comprises: 1 single track rail (length, 140 cm) including 2 ceiling fittings and 2 glider/hook packages (24 gliders and 24 hooks per package).
Wall fittings and screws are not included.
12-16 gliders and hooks are required per curtain depending on its width and whether you want narrower or fuller folds in the pleats. Double the amount for a curtain pair. See details on curtain package.
Max. load: 5 kg.
When mounting ceiling brackets/fittings ensure a distance from the wall to allow opening/closing your curtain without obstacles like a protruding window sill, radiator or window handle getting in the way.

Could add/sell additional connectorEunsilI think most customers go for this product because VIDGA can be extended longer length than other rods, by adding connectors between rods. I purchased three rods and got 6 connectors in total from the packages, in order to install on the wall, not on the ceiling. Used 2 connectors each for two rods sit each end. For the middle road, only 2 connectors were left and I needed to decide whether if I want to use these connectors for connections with other rods or wall fittings. IKEA could have given consumers chances to purchase extra connectors.
Also the packaging shows other parts included but only connectors were missing so I needed to check with the staff again to make sure connectors were in the box. But well, for the assembly I don't think I wouldn't have succeeded to install if I didn't watch other Youtubers. Overall it's a pity that Ikea could be more cautious how to present this product. However product itself was good, easy to install (only after watching Youtube)
Easy to assemble. Just make sure you get enough of what you needSamGreat results. Few tips to save you a few trips.
* Get more of what you need if you can - it's better to have extra you can refund in your next trip, than to drive down & up again just for 1-2 missing things..
Get +1 extra wall bracket for each rail you need. So if you need 3 rails in total, get 4 brackets at least.
You'll need to cut out a few cm if using more than 2 rails. Use a 1mm pitch hacksaw (24+ TPI), a mitre box, and clamps to make a clean straight cut. It's ok if it's not 100% straight..
10G 45mm countersunk screws are good for the walls if there's a stud. 5mm drill bit for pilot hole.
For hollow wall (plasterboard only) use the Ramtoggle Ramset 12mm wall anchors from Bunnings with 8G Zenith self tap screws. Other types will leave you with a big hole in the wall you need to repair..

Difficult to attachMariaThe rod is ok. However, the clips are small and very difficult to attch to the curtain and they keep unlocking. Ended up returning the unopened packs of clips.
Easy to install CarlaIt took me a little while to wrap my head around it but this was easy to install once I did. Used hollow wall anchors to fix direct to the ceiling and it looks neat and is really functional.
Ensure you allow enough room for the width of the track and fixtures when drilling the holes.

These are flimsy rubbishKimberleyThese rails only come in one size so they have to be connected if the window is wider. The join is difficult to match, especially if the rail has to be cut to a custom size. The powder coating is poor quality so it scratches easily when the rail is cut. I’m bitterly disappointed that we wasted money on this product that we now can’t return.

Very well made and easyCliveVery well made and easy to install. If you are joining pieces together ensure you are accurate when aligning brackets to ensure smooth running of curtain. I have installed 5m of track to my ceiling and it looks very neat.
The new ceiling fittings don’t require the 5mm spacer anymore so the curtain track sits even closer to the ceiling which appears much smarter.
