FlimsyNiinaI bought 2 specifically for making pancakes. Both have snapped and was using an ikea frypan. Very disappointing
Very useful with a fatal flawJonasThe spatula is thin and flexible, great for flipping pancakes, eggs, omelettes or what have you. Unfortunately, the design is extremely fragile. Where the blade connects to the handle, the material is so thin, that ikea has bent the material to create sufficient stiffness in the blade. Unfortunately, it makes for a stress point for the whole design and fatigue eventually cracks the metal.
Mine only lasted a couple of months before it ended up in landfill. This is extremely disappointing as the turner is otherwise very useful.
I would have been happy to have paid one dollar more to get a slightly more robust design that would last for years rather than months.
Flexible but sharpAnnaI love there’s no plastic. Quality product. Metal is flexible which is what I was after, only issue is the underside of the metal is sharp so won’t work on ceramic or any coated pan.

PLEASE bring back the old versionBenjaminThis turner is extremely useful, I used it almost every day. However, this new wooden-handled version has a fatal design flaw: the attachment of the metal to the handle is a weak design. The metal bends back and forth and in only a few short months snaps off from the handle where it connects. The previous version (with a black plastic handle instead of wood) had the metal running through the full length of the handle ('full tang') and was a MUCH better design, it lasted years. Please bing back the old design!!!
