The height of the legs can be adjusted manually to 6 different heights from 68 to 78 cm, so that you can always sit at a comfortable height.
You can position the table top in two different ways. If you have the contour shape facing forwards, you enjoy relief for forearms and wrists – and having it at the back creates a gap where you can lead all the cables down.
The metal mesh at the back of the desk allows air through that cools your PC and is so sturdy that you can even clamp a pair of monitor arms to it.
It should be comfortable to play, especially when a match drags on. That’s why the table top is deep – so you can position screens at a comfortable distance from your eyes.

0% wobble 0% cables 100% stealStevenIf you're looking for a 160cm desk with inbuilt cable management, THIS is the one to get. The other alternates in Ikea have more appealing legs and meshless rear design (the $269-289 Mittzon or the $349 version of this) however can be prone to a nasty wobble (due to the length and lack of a supporting front underframe).
Nothing like that to worry about here, they truly designed this well. You can hammer away at your mouse and keyboard, dual monitors, audio mixer, whatever and this desk remains rock solid. The rear mesh could aesthetically be better but supposedly helps move exhaust heat from an under desk pc.
The table top itself is very smooth (needs a good initial wipe down for dust), no dramas in assembly besides a slightly bent screw (a minor issue requiring screwing in with a little extra force) and you may need a second pair of hands to help hold the legs when attaching the frame bars.
All in all, a quality desk for amazing value. No wonder it's a best seller!

Material
What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
