That is why our children’s beds undergo rigorous furniture tests. The industry’s safety standards are very strict, but we take it further. When working with TUFFING, we focused especially on avoiding gaps and openings where small hands and feet can easily get stuck. When we had a model of the bed, it underwent two weeks of intense fatigue tests where the bed frame was continuously exposed to strong forces.

Possible Domestic DisagreementFrankThe bunk bed, when completely set up, is a solid structure and will last for decades to come. Assembly out of the pack is the problem. The netting needed for safety, is an endless challenge to get into place, and get out of the way of the securing screws. Should this be broken up and moved, the netting will not be put back. This was the most difficult and frustrating IKEA assembly we have ever done. Great product, well worth the money, but be aware, not the easiest to assemble.

Bad bedSomiaThis bed is extremely bad and very uncomfortable. The mattresses are of terrible quality, and there are wide gaps between the metal bars that are supposed to support them. It is a completely poor choice, and I would never recommend it to anyone
Bunk bed reviewMelissaBrought this thinking it would make a great bed for my ND Boys as we really liked the design and the height features it offered. Had a look instore to see how sturdy it was (looked great!) Unfortunately if your kids are really rough or Neuro Diverse rough then this isn't the bed for you. Within a couple of weeks it was already swaying. We tightened the screws but they were already out of alignment, another couple of weeks and it's swaying again, the bolts can't be tightened anymore. And we are having to dismantle it (for safety) and are now struggling to get the screws out due to them being so warped. TL;DR Bunk is good if your kids aren't rough and rugged otherwise it's a waste of money that could've gone to something more sturdier.
Product is good, but assembly is hardMichaelThe bed itself is good and sturdy once assembled. But the assembly part is a bit hard, even after carefully going through the instructions. Case of practicality sacrificed for design. There are better ways to do certain things. We used to have a much bigger bunk bed from a different supplier and that was much easier to assemble and disassemble. If you have patience and time, then this is a good option.

OkAtlantaBudget wise it’s good. Does the job. Isn’t too high, good for what it’s worth. However, the top handles are loose and move quite often. They aren’t stable. Was very hard to put together and you’ll definitely need some strength as there are areas that require it when piecing it together. Took us forever to finish it and there could have been better/easier alternatives as to how this was made. If you’re wanting to move it out of a room you’ll need to take the bed frame apart which I am dreading doing.
However overall, it does the job.

A bed for new perspectives
Life is pretty good here at the top of the bed. Teasing younger siblings can be kept at a distance, and when mum or dad says good night, the height is just perfect for a hug. Both bunk beds and loft beds are good choices when you want to create more space in a smaller area. With TUFFING, we also managed to make more bed from less material.
We made TUFFING bunk bed and loft bed of stable steel and mesh fabric, and somewhat lower than other bunk beds. It means less use of material and that each bed weighs less to transport.

TUFFING bunk bed has passed the same strict safety tests as all our other bunk beds. We just used other materials, made it lower and replaced the guard rail with the ladder. All to make it exactly as safe to sleep in – just a little cheaper.
