I am an idiot. Watch out for the hole.ScottBought two of these covers, for a pillow that is designed to be 'flipped' during the night, to take advantage of the gel cooling side. Problem is you can't flip the pillow with this case. The other side is exposed. This is a 3/4 pillow cover. You are left with a big hole on one side. Consider yourself warned. The second picture from Ikea even shows the hole. Ikea let me down by recommending this cover. I was the idiot by not looking at all of the product photos. Lesson learned. This is not the cover you are looking for if you want to use both sides of your pillow, ever.
Useless product AllisonWhat a waste of money! Normally very happy with IKEA products but this pillow protectors just squeeze the pillow into a ball, which then doesn’t sit properly in a pillow cover!

Adjustable Height Is GreatAndrewThe ability to remove and replace a layer is a great innovation. This is not only for allowing comfortable sleeping positions on the back, side or front; but also allows for different shoulder lengths between head and arm. The square shape takes some getting used to but is comfortable. Ikea pillowcases to fit are available in limited colours (white, dark blue and grey).
I hope Ikea do not make this a short-term product, making replacements unobtainable because many people will benefit from this design.

Can see all the blue trimmings from the pillow and a yellowish colour not even white so doesn’t match any of my white sheets, they could have figured out a zipped pillowcase as the pillow is designed to use both sides now can’t use the other side due to the hole in the middle!!
