It’s thin enough to fit under the door but doesn’t feel flimsy at all, solid with the nice jute texture underfoot. It’s exactly what I need to protect the boards, but it wouldn’t be suitable for wiping dirty shoes outside. Non slip underside is a light colour, works well. The mat didn’t come with any unpleasant smells, and no problem with it lying flat after delivery.
