Great first bedNicoleLoved how easy this was to put together and how nice it looks in the room. Only downside is that the slats do creak as an adult gets off the bed.5

Excellent Kids Bed! NeilBought single Tarva frame plus a double Tarva frame 5-10 years ago. The Double bed frame is still working perfetly. Not fallen apart like Fantastic Furniture rubbish. Good construction! Excellent timber strength. ZERO issues with 3 kids jumping on bed (6yo, 7yo & 10yo). PLUS it has no silly leg in the middle of the bed, preventing you from storing things underneath!5
POOR product description and misleadingJasonThe product description should be
"Bed frame, pine, Single (not include Slatted Bed Base)"
Waste my time go twice to buy Slatted Bed Base.
I can understand Ikea try to show people the price is low, but actually not, you need pay $40 more1

No base!?YusufIt is unacceptable cell this without the base slates. Ridiculous!1
Poorly done, IKEAMandyHow do you sell a bed that does not come with a base??? How is that even possible? There is no shop in the world that sells a frame and not a base with it. We ordered on line and picked up our order only to get home (we live an hour away) and once we assembled the bed, we realised there was no base slats! Our granddaughter had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. This is poor IKEA and certainly not the type of thing we would expect from you. Very disappointing.1
Metal support doesn't enoughFelipeThe metal bars that support the mattress are not enough and the mattress has fallen down.1
Frame is sturdy but slats cave inRyanI would rate the bed frame 5 ⭐️ , but the function of the slats as a 2 ⭐️.
I have had the double and queen version of this bed for over 10 years, but I purchased this single version for my daughter.
The bed frame is sturdy as ever, however anyone weighing over 40kg lays on the edge of the bed, the slats cave in. It’s happened on multiple occasions whilst I have been reading a book to my daughter.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend this bed because of this flaw unless you weigh under 40kg.2

Great productDanielGreat product5
Simple aestheticSoniaThis bed looks great . It was relatively easy to assemble (a bit tricky in parts) but overall not too hard. I like the unstained finish and there are so many Ikea quilt covers that can dress it up beautifully.5
SturdyPeterNot bad for the price. Easy to assemble and looks nice and simple.5
SolidAnonymousReasonably easy to assemble, and sturdy/solid but low for an adult to sleep in. Great as an occasional spare bed.4
light (easy to move around) and looks greatRobynThis bed so far has been great value for money. Relatively easy to assemble (with another person helping at some points) and looks lovely, my daughter loves it.5
