Product details

The hard-wearing solid pine has natural variations in grain, colour and texture, giving every piece a unique look.

If you oil, wax, lacquer or stain the untreated solid wood surface it will be more durable and easy to care for.

There’s plenty of space under the bed for storage boxes - perfect for storing extra duvets and pillows.

You can easily vacuum under the bed frame to keep the space clean and dust-free.

Slatted bed base, mattress and bedlinen are sold separately.

Combine this bed frame with a slatted bed base with a max. thickness of 4 cm to keep the slats hidden in the frame. The slats of a higher bed base may be visible along the sides of the bed.

Stains can be removed by using an eraser, fine sandpaper, soap, dishwashing detergent or paint thinner.

Excellent BedLucieWe needed a single bed for our spare room. This one was perfect as it was the smallest size to fit in well. We put it together ourselves as we do with all our IKEA furniture. Follow the instructions and it is so easy. We read reviews that were negative before purchasing and after doing it ourselves we put this down to others not following the instructions correctly. I’ve slept on this bed many times and with the same firm mattress as our queen bed from IKEA it’s perfect! The timber fits in with the rest of our furniture and the timber smell eventually disappears. Love the bed!5
Standard Australian single mattress too shortKatharineThis bed frame is fantastic - cheap, good quality, can be styled to look fantastic in a kid's bedroom, HOWEVER the length is too long for a standard Australian single mattress, leaving an irritating gap. Why Ikea don't think it is worth mentioning that this is sized for a European single mattress, I don't know.3

And because you can stain or paint it without further treatment, everyone can create their own TARVA. In that way, the design becomes a collaboration between us and the person who decorates it."
