Is this for adults?GihanAn excellent concept. For a studio this gives us space we didn't have before. My wife and I use it. We checked and double checked if this is designed to sleep two adults and the consensus from IKEA personel was it can, even though we couldn't find it in writing.
Two weeks into use, the bed started to sway. I keep tightening the screws. It works well for week or two and the bed starts to sways.
There are others who have modified the bed to make it sturdy. I haven't gone down that road, yet.
I'm happy with the bed for what it gives us. But it looks like this is going to be a long term problem.
Possibly great kindling?StevanExtremely unstable, have ended up getting a cabinet maker to install diagonal cross bracing to fix that issue. Coating on the timber isn’t remotely decent enough for typical wear and tear you would get with children. Over all pretty poor also when considering only the ikea mattress fits in properly etc
Excellent LeeMy daughter loves her loft bed. Gives so much room underneath, was able to put a desk underneath that we also purchased from ikea. Had to get someone from ikea to put it together for me.

Love itTommyGreat product, a little bit challenging to assemble if one person. Bed gets a bit wabbly, but assuming it's reasonable? Provides me extra space for couch and tv downstairs so satisfied with the product. Would prolly advice getting the paid assembling services. It was however fun to assemble.
Really Good and very sturdy bedJakeThe loft bed is a perfect size and high for my small room and allowed me the ability to add other stuff under, allowing me to turn it into a bit of home, it does wobble on the side when getting on, but that is normal cause it a loft bed, and they wobble, but for this bed, it is very sturdy and would 100% recommend if you're in a small room and want to free up space. I wish there were different colours other than white, but it's okay cause u could paint it.
It was a little bit confusing to put it together, and you need 2 people for part of it.

Be aware of the ceiling height!
STORÅ and TROMSÖ loftbeds require that you have a ceiling height of at least 2,70 m. Otherwise the beds will not fit.
