Actually worksGemmaI brought this to put under a hallway runner that’s on a slope. I cut strips to put under it. It hasn’t budged an inch since I did this weeks ago, even with 5 kids running up and down the hall.
Caused discolouration on engineered hardwood floorElHad this underlay on our brand new engineered hardwood floor for about 3 months, we moved it today to find it has left a patch of lighter discolouration on our brand new floors. After researching it seems like this is something that can happen with latex reacting with the wood floor. Very disappointed in this product, we bought it to protect our new floors and instead it has caused damage. Customer beware.
Hulk Hogan Would Be DisappointedAlexCertainly not what they used to be. Once upon a time Hulk Hogan couldn’t pull this apart. Now it couldn’t hold a piece of tissue in place. Whatever changed, it has lost the grip that made these worth buying.

Better than expectedSibI wasn't really sure about this but thought I'd give it a try. Although not spongey (which I wasn't expecting), this rug underlay is excellent and I'm about to order another one.
Sticky on both sidesRussellNeeding something to put between my rug and hardwood floors so the floors are protected from the rug’s abrasive backing. The product description does not indicate that both sides have adhesive, which would have been good to know before purchasing what is sold as a standard rug underlay (where one side is not sticky). I had to return this, which unfortunately, was after the change to the return policy.
If you are going to be stricter about your returns, please make sure your product descriptions indicate all “features”.

Sticks to everything but the floorHamishI imagine many of the positive reviews come from the first moment it is laid. Give it time! It will literally stick to absolutely everything but the floor. Maybe at $10 this would be OK however, at close to $20 this is a complete waste of money. Better off putting the $19 in your fuel tank.
