If you want to sterilize the bottle with hot water, preheat the bottle first with warm tap water. This prevents the glass from cracking.

Handy and hygienicRoszariePurchased mainly to keep fresh lemon-water on hand. Fruit juices were staining soda stream bottles and molding out the plastic inserts. This little beauty fits easily in a bag or car cup holder and is far easier to keep clean. It doesn't fit into a Sodastream but it's easy enough to transfer fizzy water into. The lid is plastic but seals well and has held up to hot water washing. Bought two at first, enough to see me throughout the day - at home or out and about. Will definitely buy again if the need arises.

Love these bottles!DianaI use these to take juice with me when I have to head into uni or meetings. They are just really nice and easy to use. I have just purchased two replacement bottles, because I accidentally dropped one on some stairs smashing the entire thing. Then the other slid off the counter when a grocery bag fell over & the lid broke, so the bottle became useless as anything but a vase for me. I have had no leak issues, but I am careful to keep them upright & wrapped in a towel if I am putting it inside of a bag instead of in an outer pocket. They don't keep things cool or hot, but it is great when I don't have time to drink some OJ before needing to catch the bus.
