Very poor quality control. Do not buy unless you have a workshop to fix the issuesChrisReally disappointed in this. Having been an IKEA customer for around 28 years this is a real low point. The lower shelf has threaded bushes in the ends for a bolt running through the upright. The whole lot is then painted / powder coated afterwards. However the threads were clearly not cleaned out and were then not protected while painting so they were full of swarf, paint, and painted swarf. Fortunately I have a workshop so was able to tap out the threads with an M6 tap, then recut the thread on the studding / bolts where they had been damaged from trying to get them to fit, before finally assembling the product. The product is fine once built but it is a real low on the quality control here and a real blip in the IKEA, easy to assemble, ethos. I'd expect it with the cheap knock off flat pack wannabes, but not with the OG.
Deceiving AnnieBought this for my 140cm by 60cm lagkapten table top and the only way that it lines up is if one of the legs is overhanging. In the good to know section of this product and it says it is suitable for the tabletop I bought when it is not. This needs to be fixed!
