SÖDERHAMN seating series allows you to sit deeply, low and softly with the loose back cushions for extra support.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.
The various sections of the seating series can be connected together in different combinations or used separately.
You sit in comfort with a slight, pleasant resilience thanks to the elastic weave in the bottom and high resilience foam in the seat cushions.

Looks good but not comfortable TinaI recently bought the 3 seater to begin with - I was undecided about chaise or corner section so decided to wait. (just moved house)
I am quite disappointed. The sofa looks great but is uncomfortable. The cushions are quite thin, feels like I’m sitting on the base. I need to add another section to accommodate for more people; unhappy about spending more money on an uncomfortable piece of furniture.
Usually, I love IKEA products. I’m still impressed with their customer service.

Fantastic CouchCarinWe bought this couch about a month ago. Easy to set up, very comfortable. It smelt awful for a few days, but then the smell went away and we love this couch!

Stylish, Comfortable and NeatSamanthaI love my Soderhamn sofa. I have a small place and it fits perfectly. I have the orange cover and the happy colour always makes me smile - sad Ikea discontinued it? I wish there were more cover options to choose from rather than the current boring ones. A shearling fabric would be lovely, as would a nice mustard yellow or a linen cover. Ikea could sell so much more if they offered more choices in covers.

the couch that doubles as a bed...Anonymous reviewersince i have a small space, i opted for no ends which is perfect. the color, size, feel of the fabric, depth, everything is high end and remarkable. the cushions are super soft as well. i had to put a single mattress ontop of it when a friend stayed with me during rough times (it's only a one bedroom) and it works so well! acts just like a bed base, and honestly, i kinda don't want my bed back!
