To save on our natural resources and make use of as much of the tree as possible, we’ve used sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle boards for SMÅSTAD.

Wider use than toy storage.RuthThis is a practical piece, topped with the foam rubber cushion. We use it as a sitting space to remove shoes or place bags etc on top. The drawers underneath provide deep storage suitable for extra winter bedding or could be used to store shoes, balls etc.
How do they get the sponge to stick to nicely?ParasI really like this for my sons toys however installing the BEGRIPPA was a big issue and a chunk of wood came off from the other end of the wood. Lucky I found a way to hide it.

Needs improvementKiarnaIt’s good and holds a lot but it is horrible on carpet. You cannot pull it out when it’s on carpet as the front board gets caught. Needs taller casters on it….
Delightful Kids StorageLukeThis is a great storage option when you have littlies who love to pull every toy out and make a mess. You can use this as hideaway storage to keep most toys out of sight / out of mind or just as general toy storage.
When they get a little bigger and want to draw it becomes a great desk.
This unit is so easy to put together it surprised me how quickly it was finished.
My only complaint is that you can’t change the height of the casters when it’s sitting on carpet
