Love!CarolynI never thought I'd love plastic candles! But here I am in love with the Smalom candles gifted to me in hospital by my eldest child. They're excellent value. Safe. No chance of fires here! Come on of an evening by themselves. Turn off by themselves, with your choice of 3 or 6 'burn' hours, can be run on Ikea's rechargeable batteries, their ambient 'flicker'. What is not to love? The value and quality are excellent and I'm seriously smitten so much I bought another 3 as I never want to be without them! Check out their price! Fantastic item that I use every night without fail as they turn themselves on and off! Can't be beat.5

Bright, cozy, and surprisingly tallJoramI bought this taller version along with the smaller one, and it’s just as good. Same really nice warm glow, same lovely flicker, and thankfully still actually bright. I’ve had LED candles before that were so dim they were pointless, but this one definitely isn’t. One thing worth noting is that it’s a lot taller than I expected. It looks taller in real life than it did online, which isn’t a bad thing at all, just something to be aware of if you’re styling shelves or grouping candles together. Once it’s placed though, it looks great and feels very intentional. The timer is again a huge win. I love candles with timers and this works perfectly, so it’s very set-and-forget. Paired with the smaller version, they look really nice together. Overall, same verdict as the smaller one. Great quality, lovely glow, and absolutely worth it. Would happily buy more and really hope IKEA keeps these around. 5

Love how they are on a timer so I don’t waste batteries by forgetting to turn them off & then wallah they turn themselves back on the next day. Best I’ve ever owned - highly recommend.

This puts out a great, warm candle light that dances like a natural flame. The timer function is fantastic - it comes on every evening and turns itself off. Battery life is great - far better than some more expensive candles I’ve had before.

Maximise the cosiness and atmosphere

The SMÅLOM series has various-sized LED candles that you can even use in lanterns in protected spaces outdoors, as well as a set of 2 LED taper candles for indoor use. All are battery-operated and have a flickering glow just like a real flame. A built-in timer automatically turns it on and off. The taper candles illuminate for approx. 130 hours and the pillar candles for approx. 140 hours. Great to mix to create a warm, inviting vibe in a home – even in bookcases and windows.
