How to get it

The base of this table lamp is made of solid wood with natural variations in colour and grain. You decide the style by completing with a lampshade you like – and a light bulb too of course.

Each table lamp base has a unique expression since it is made of solid wood – a vibrant material with natural variations.

  • Light bulb sold separately. IKEA recommends LED bulb E14.

    Use a clear light bulb if you have a lamp shade or lamp with a perforated or cut-out pattern or other airy, open design and want the pattern to cast effects on the wall and ceiling.

    Use an opal light bulb if you have an ordinary lamp shade or lamp and want an even, diffused distribution of light.

    Special waste handling may be required. Please contact your local authorities for more information.

Beatiful base.AlejandraThe problem is that it does not fit with the GROPPTORP pending shadow that is advertised as matching together. The reason in not the base, is not the shadow but the incomplete setting in the packaging.5
IncompleteKarenI had to return to IKEA twice to figure out why this wouldn’t fit the lampshade I purchased, even though both were on display together. Be warned there’s a lampshade attachment that is required but is no longer included with any purchase so you will have to go and find your own somewhere!1
