Hard to assemble DanielleThe light is good except for the having to tighten the light to the base. Took me ages to get it tight enough that the light would not wobble. I would not recommend this for anyone who has difficult with hand strength (like arthritis). Pretty disappointing from IKEA who normally make this easy but this is most definitely not.

Very difficult to assembleMarjaActually it was not possible to assemble! As some others have experienced, the bottom bolt (shown on page 9 in the Assembly instructions) is impossible to screw in fully as indicated. It will not go all the way and resists all efforts with multiple wrenches. This makes it very difficult for anyone with weak hands or without assistance; or it might be just that this lamp is just one of a bad batch and not fixable. I have to return it.
Lightweight Floor LampSandraThis lamp was purchased to enhance reading light in a particular room. It is lightweight, took 2 minutes to assemble. It neck is flexible, so easy to put the light at a suitable angle. Great price and looks fabulous in the space. Very happy with this purchase.

Sambord Upright Reading LightEmmaBought this for my 90 year old mother. I am no spring chicken myself, so suprised to get it home and find it was a little fiddly to put together, AND then discovered I needed a Wrench to tighten the bolt holding it to the base! Was shocked! Had bought a similar one for my mother which has since been discontinued. Always a plus not having anything too heavy of complicated to assemble when one is getting on in age. Wish there had been a notice/symbol on the box advising that a Wrench was needed. Mother seems content so all ended well.

Neat and minimalHoraceBeen waiting for so long for it to arrive Australia. Easy to install but make sure you have a spanner with you. Shorter than expected but still looks very nice quality built. Would be even more perfect of the shade is made of glass.
