Sambord Upright Reading LightEmmaBought this for my 90 year old mother. I am no spring chicken myself, so suprised to get it home and find it was a little fiddly to put together, AND then discovered I needed a Wrench to tighten the bolt holding it to the base! Was shocked! Had bought a similar one for my mother which has since been discontinued. Always a plus not having anything too heavy of complicated to assemble when one is getting on in age. Wish there had been a notice/symbol on the box advising that a Wrench was needed. Mother seems content so all ended well.5

Neat and minimalHoraceBeen waiting for so long for it to arrive Australia. Easy to install but make sure you have a spanner with you. Shorter than expected but still looks very nice quality built. Would be even more perfect of the shade is made of glass.5

This is a great well designed and elegant lamp. The construction is sturdy with a weighty base. The design allows for secure underpinning for the chord so the lamp sits flat on the floor.
