Product details

2 generous drawers – 1 where you can hide what you don't want to see and 1 where you can display what you want to see more of.

You can use the drawer with a glass top for making notes with a marker pen, tracing or simply display nice things in it.

The curved shield creates a feeling of private space and makes the desk also look nice from behind.

The shield has a narrow opening where you can lead cables out to the back.

Cable management with a lid so you can hide the cables on the desk and have a nice cable-free workspace.

The hook can be placed either to the left or right of the desk to hang a bag or headphones.

Care

Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

Important! Glass is a fragile material and should always be handled with care.

Safety and compliance

Handle with care! A damaged edge or scratched surface can cause the glass to suddenly crack or break. Avoid bumps from the side - this is where the glass is most vulnerable.This desk has been tested for domestic use and meets the requirements for durability and stability set forth in the following standards: EN 12521 and EN 1730.

One of the shelving had inaccurate screw holes ChristineNever really had a problem with IKEA products before this, but one of the drawer had holes drilled inaccurately, specifically the right sided drawer, so I couldn't install my screw properly. I don't have a drill so I couldn't drill a hole either. I've contacted IKEA about this and arranged for a replacement part for delivery, even choosen the dates and times so I could stay home for the delivery to arrive, but it never came. I tried contacting IKEA again regarding the issue but I was left on hold for 30 mins or so on the phone again like before, so I've given up and used super glue instead. My drawer is still wobbly and I cannot believe I paid so much money for a wobbly drawer on what could've been a beautiful desk. Honestly, not worth the risk. 2

I love this desk! It is spacious, comfortable height, and I like the "window"! I especially appreciate the rounded edging, as it makes my office space seem seperate from the rest of the room.

"My idea with RIDSPÖ was to make a functional desk that’s also a beautiful piece of furniture that blends in throughout the home. It has a generous work surface, cable management, a hook for a bag and two drawers. One of the drawers has a glass top for notes – and to keep nice things on display. Natural materials with an oak finish provide a timeless and solid expression that all gives the desk a long life. Hopefully it creates both a great focus area and a homely feel."
