Sliding Door Wardrobe - Spacesaver!MariaMy first purchase from Ikea has been fabulous with the RAKKESTAD Wardrobe with sliding doors, black-brown, 117x176 cm. Purchased assembly and home delivery with another wardobe from Ikea as a first-time customer. Re-scheduling of assembly service was requested by Ikea team, and they diligently serviced assembly on the same day. I dislike assembling myself, so Ikea's service in this regard, is worth every cent for a stress free purchase. The value of the wardrobe for $329 is competitive as it is very stylish and saves space with slide doors. The colour is perfect with my wood and cast iron furniture. A great purchase!5

Can’t complainCarinaEasy to assemble by myself. Only needed a second person when it came time to flip the wardrobe to upright. Instructions were easy enough to follow. Wardrobe looks good and fits all the clothing I need it to. Gave 4 stars because there’s nothing in the instructions about the rollers being adjustable. When I finished assembling it there was a gap on both sides where the sliding doors didn’t reach the edge. Turns out you can adjust the height of the rollers to combat this. YOU CAN ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE ROLLERS, PEOPLE!! You’re welcome :)4
My son found it very easy to put together good clear instructions KerryFits perfectly and is excellent for me 5
Poor product experienceAnonymous reviewerFrom missing essential screws to poor quality, I’d give this a miss. The nail in the coffin was the install of the sliding doors which was painful and absolutely terrible design. Sorry IKEA, you’ve missed the mark on this one! 1
Wardrobe awesomeness PettaLove this new wardrobe! It’s not very tall so a couple of my dresses hang a little long but it’s perfect for all my other stuff! 5
Nice!MaiI bought 2. The style suits my needs. the sliding doors are space saver5
Looks good in our hallwayElisabethLooks good in our hallway and great for two people's outerware - great that it has two separate spaces so we don't mix up each other's belongings. Only problem is that the rubber band that helps doors slide keep falling down.5

DodgyMariaSliding doors seemed like a great idea but one track groove was narrower than the other and the slide wheel therefore doesn't run smooth and sticks. Have tried to stretch the track open but it still sticks and the door doesn't close at exact right angles. I checked the level on the wardrobe frame but it's perfect so the alignment to raise and lower the doors is what is affecting a perfect closure - leaving an annoying opening when it's closed. Will try to re-align but the sliding door is flimsy and with the track sticking it's just dodge on dodge.2

Ok for the price.JodieThis wardrobe is ok for the price. Just what I expected from ikea. Perfect for my teenager that does not look after anything and not wanting to spend a fortune. Would be great if it had draws, instead of just a shelf. Looks nice in the room.3
FunctionalReneeIt's nice to see something IKEA that isn't white! The runners are nice and smooth. We use this as a school bag hider.5
Easy assembly, however the doorsSanthoshEasy assembly, however the doors are very flimsy and delicate. Can easily get damaged. Ikea should consider a stronger material for the doors3
Poor QualityPattyI remember when IKEA stood for practical and quality I still have IKEA wardrobe from 10years ago and the quality of the wood and accessories were durable and when assembled the sections fit in perfect.
Now I don’t know what happened but this wardrobe is sloppy and doors don’t fit. But hey it could just be mine maybe other buyers had greater success but all I know Is the quality is lacking.2
