This cushion is made of the dope-dyed Gunnared fabric in polyester, a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned melange effect.
The tufted design of the cushion gives your armchair an elegant character and ensures that it retains its plushness and softness without you needing to fix the cushion.
This cushion fits both POÄNG armchair and POÄNG rocking chair.

Safety and compliance
The cover has a lightfastness level of 6 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 55,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

They are too thin and push through the chair supports and makes it very uncomfortable to sit on especially the back support. But they did look a lot more modern.

Not as thick as SomeDawnWe replaced the cushions on our Poang chair, which we purchased 14 years ago. They were still in good condition but we wanted a colour change.And there are many colours to choose from, which is great. Sadly the cushion depth in the new cushions was much less than the original, but you have to buy the whole top seating instead of just replacement covers. I would have preferred to keep the foam inserts & just replace the covers.
No Black Leather?EvieWe have one light cream Poang which we wanted to change to black leather to match another Poang we have. We were very disappointed to find that IKEA no longer sell black leather Poangs so this cover was the best alternative. It’s a nice cover - good finish and comfort.
Great chair padJacquiNice neutral colour and comfortable in a minimalist kind of way. I like that you can replace the chair pads with a different style/colour.
