A small white desk that can follow your child from early childhood to adolescence. It’s adjustable at 3 different heights and has practical cable boxes for power strips for your electronic devices.

This desk is designed to grow with your child, thanks to the three different heights.

The desk is easily adjusted to 59, 66 or 72 cm by using the knobs on the legs.

You can keep cables and extension cords organised by placing them in the cable holders between the front and back legs.

Great legs, overpriced table top …but there’s a hackSarahI loved the adjustable height legs for my 6yr old, but I didn’t like the price or colour of table top that came with it. The Pahl tabletop is a little bit smaller than the standard ikea desktop (Lagkaphen) and double the price. In Australia at least, this table is actually sold as two seperate parts (legs and table top) , although for an ikea novice, it might be hard to notice. So you don’t have to buy the table top, if you don’t like the price or don’t like plain white. Get your own tabletop as long as it’s 580mm wide and 35mm thick ( that’s how long the screws to attach the legs to the table are) . Or use a Komplement shelf that is 580mm wide and make up the thickness with some off cut timber ( I was lucky enough to find an oak finish Komplement shelf in the As-Is section for a fraction of the original price) Other than that, the legs are great quality and very sturdy. And keep in mind you have to flip the table upside down to adjust it.4

This desk was so quick and easy to set up. It is very sturdy and the perfect size. I have a 27 inch monitor, with a set of speakers on the sides, a full size keyboard and mouse. Perfect for student desk or child to do crafts on. Ordered a second one.

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
