Owned a few of these alreadySylviaFound that the finish in the recent one I’ve purchased have a poorer finish than the earlier ones I bought.5

Bamboo trayReneeI use them for bathroom to store cleaning products in cupboards to prevent cupboards from getting dirtier earlier than they otherwise would5

Bamboo trayKarenThis for kitchen bench for items you use everyday, great size I hope they have a much bigger one too for dining table to be a centre piece4
Simple solution to kitchen top problemAlisonThis tray was big enough to hold my necessities for my stovetop and small enough to not encroach on my kitchen top space. Simple to clean.4
Good sizeSunEasy to useful size3
Bamboo TrayPamelaGreat size tray, well made, bought to use on Bamboo runner used on arm of sofa to hold coffee cup.5
Worse than badEllaI have already reviewed these trays when I first purchased a few weeks back, due to splintering when I removed the labels, but have just discovered a new problem with them today but can't edit my review.. the coating is easily penetrated by condensation off drinks, unlike the trays of the same design that I purchased a few months back, which are completely waterproof. I am hoping it will let me attach pics here so I can show the difference between the effects of water on old & new... I don't think these trays will last very long at all. Please bring back the old, good quality version! 1
Functional and aesthetically pleasingKathrynSturdy and great to use.5
Great crumb catcherLorraineNeeded something to sit under my toaster to catch the crumbs. This works perfectly.5
Disappointed. EllaThe quality of these trays has declined recently. The ones i purchased today, the veneer came off in sharp splinters when I removed the sticky labels underneath. I have glued the bits back down that didnt detach completely and will keep them and use them, to see how they last compared to the other two that I've used for months without any issues. 2
Form & functionSylviaSides are just the right height: high enough to hold things in but not to high to be in the way or break clean line.5
useful for coffee servingHeruput on top of coffee table, perfect match4
Router stand.ChrisPlaced on top of an ogontrost stand makes a it perfect to raise a wireless router above any obstruction. Only extra it needs is a bit of adhesive to prevent mishap.5
Good to contain small random itemsCarrieI have a few of these in my home. Good for the coffee table (TV remotes, drink coasters) or anywhere else I need my small, everyday items (keys, lipbalm, sun glasses) contained.5
Good size traySaraI saw a hack whereby you stick the tray to the bamboo placemat thing that sits over the arm of your lounge. Makes your coffee or wine more stable. 5
Toaster tray for catching crumbs HildaFits perfectly under my toaster to catch crumbs. Very hardy and looks good. Would recommend for various uses. 5

Material

What is bamboo?

Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.
