Comfort and customer serviceKateI bought four (different) armchairs at IKEA recently and was blown away by the assistance in store and the customer service I received. This chair I chose for the combination of comfort and luxe appearance. The lumbar support is awesome for me. The value for money is astonishing- the similar chairs at a major furniture retailer were $2k for something not as good. My only advice is to take assembly seriously. So many people throw it together and then complain the chair is not aligned. I do have the benefit of a cabinet maker in the family and he assembled them quickly and was impressed. We are so happy with these elegant, comfy chairs and IKEA’s awesome communication. The salesman in the floor was SO patient and helpful.

Looks NiceLyndaFeels nice fabric, easy to put together. Unfortunately it hurts my husbands back. The lower back of the upright sticks out a little further than the top and this causes him a problem, not quite as soft as we hoped after a while either. Had to return.
Uncomfortable ledge in backrestLaurindaThe sections of the backrest are mismatched/misaligned leaving a large ledge in the middle of my back where they join. The chair in store was comfortable, but this one definitely is not.
Elegant and comfortable armchairSiobhanMy husband’s new armchair. He loves the high back and how the chair envelopes you. He has fashioned arm covers ( from an old IKEA chair cover), to keep arms protected and clean. Looks great in our smallish office.

So versatileMandyThis chair is super comfy, snuggled up in a blanket, reading a book on a rainy day. Equally it’s just as easy to work from home, juggling a laptop and coffee in extreme comfort. Not a day goes by in our home without this chair getting used. It might have a hefty price tag, but it was so easy to put together and I haven’t regretted its purchase once. Ok, maybe just when I was trying to get the boxes in the car. Very large!!

This is a lovely comfortableRobynThis is a lovely comfortable chair and does not intrude in the room. I like the head height and the way it wraps around you when your seated. I am concerned that when I rest my right elbow on the armrest the foam is not bouncing back as I would expect. It is leaving a dinge. I will keep an eye on that to see if it gets worse.
