Really pretty, but not for warmthLaraThe Ofelia throw is a keeper - I can't remember which year I got mine, but it's still doing bed decoration duty many years after purchase.
It's not a throw you buy for warmth. This is the one you put in your "romance bedroom" design, and very occasionally pull the throw out into the lounge room to sit across your knees when it's maybe 2 degrees cooler than you'd like, but you don't want to turn on the heater.
The crinkle effect and gossamer-weight fabric along with its white-as-the-driven-snow appearance make it the perfect finisher for a bed piled high with ruffled pillows and gingham quilts. Just as an example. It also works really well to add a light aspect to a more "industrial" bed - prettying up a darker or solid coloured quilt so you can still have a "romance" element in a room shared with the least romantic partner on the planet.
And at IKEA's price, you can have more than one.
LovelyLiannaI really like this throw but my only hesitation is that it's polyester. I know we need to do something with polyester instead of it being landfill etc but I would adore this if it was recycled cotton. I really dislike wearing anything that is not natural fibres and I prefer my bedding and throws to be the same. I caved and got this for the sofa, my teenage son is less fussy with throws😊
Soo lovelyTraceyI LOVE this blanket. Soo soft and squishy. I loved it soo much I got one for both my children. It’s the perfect summer weight blanket. Not too heavy not too light. Just brilliant!! I wish it came in different colours!!!! I’d buy more!! Blue, pink, mint green… yellow.
