Great productDavidI didn’t go to the store to buy this but I am very glad I did. Great light for reading or dimming and adding atmosphere 👍
Wobbly bayonet fitting holds base onFraserNice looking lamp. The whole back of the head of the light is a press switch. Main problem is the base is only held on with a bayonet fitting, and when you swivel with lamp it tends to get loose and the whole thing wobbles. When is breaks I'm going to try and ream it out and fit a bolt to hold it on properly.

Design FlawBarbThere is a design flaw here. The head of the lamp where the bulb goes is longer than the size of the globe which means you have to insert it relatively deep into the head with your hand and unless you have the hands of a child, I could not do it and had to ask someone who has small hands.

Design flaw at the baseJackI like the rest of design and style etc., but the base is a FAILURE of design: you cannot firmly kept the lamp pole and base together, because the way they fit is some sort of certain angle twist snap on, instead of screw. Therefore over time due to lamp movement (even sligtly), it becomes loose that is hard to notice. I once lifted it and wanted to move to another room, the heavy base just DROPPED from air, made a damage on my floor. I should be grateful it didn't hit my tows!
