“We designed a frame that looks like a square with small legs,” explains Anders. It’s a shape that’s used throughout the series, from chairs to tables. “The frame gives NÄMMARÖ a uniform and contemporary look. It’s also modular thinking that simplifies the production and lowers the cost. And since NÄMMARÖ doesn’t have any curved shapes, the products are easy to pack in flat packages.” It contributes to a lower price and saves valuable space during transport – all the way from the factory to the customer’s home.

Great table for oneMichelleThis is a perfect size table for one. However, I nearly missed getting it. When I was first looking around and weighing up my options, I called IKEA and asked for the width of the gap where the chair goes, so that I could see if my chair would fit. This measurement wasn’t listed online. The person on the phone took a while and came back with the measurement, which was too small. I was gutted! I had to go to IKEA for something else and went to visit it and knew they had got it wrong and that my current chairs would fit. Turns out they gave me the width of the chair in the online picture, not the actual measurement of the table gap! Disappointing customer service.
