Reliable not outstandingPaulThe unit works reasonably well, certainly better than its predecessor. The body is a little larger than I would like however it does preform as expected and outlined on the box. Size is the only thing that could be improved.
A little inter mittenSupenaI connect 2 sensor to one plug. The second one didn’t register movement on a couple of first days. Even when we sway in front of it. Now both works well, may require some times to get used to.
Works well with the Home Assistant platformShabithThis is my first IKEA wireless motion sensor, and I chose it because it supports Matter over Thread. I was able to add it to Home Assistant without any issues or surprises.
I had high hopesBradleyCannot get to stay connected. Reading about this device online. it looks like a known issue. If they can fix it, this could be a game changer in home automation.
Does what it says on the tinZachWorks well, seems to pick up motion around 6 metres away, impressive. Seamless connection to Home Assistant (no Ikea hub. Battery life is good so far. Can't complain!
Won't stay connected.BobVery difficult to pair with Home Assistant using ZBT-2 Thread Border Router. When it does eventually pair, it stays connected for about an hour and then refuses to reconnect. Don't have any issues with other manufacturers Matter devices.
Cheap and reliable in HomeKit via MatterPeterThe setup was easy and it’s 95% reliable in sensing similar to more expensive sensors. I have added into HomeKit via matter
So much better than previous versionJaimynThis is so much better than the previous zigbee version. Paired seamlessly with Apple HomeKit directly using the Home app. Works very quickly, reliably and the 2x AAA batteries should last ages. Full matter compatibility means I can also simultaneously pair them with home assistant for more advanced automations and integration.
